A&M jumped up behind Ohio State and Indiana after Miami lost to Louisville on Friday night. Though the SEC has more teams in the top five, the Big Ten can claim the top two teams. The Buckeyes easily beat Wisconsin on Saturday, while Indiana had no trouble against Michigan State.
Ohio State and Indiana do not meet in the regular season and appear to be on a crash course for the Big Ten title game.
The SEC is a bit more wide open. The conference has five teams in the top 10, with Ole Miss at No. 8 and Vanderbilt now at No. 10. There are two more SEC teams in the top 15 as Oklahoma is at No. 13 after its win over South Carolina and Missouri moved up a spot to No. 15 after a 23-17 win in double-overtime at Auburn.
