Why is Salad and Go closing all of its remaining stores in Texas and Oklahoma?
In September 2025, Salad and Go closed dozens of restaurants across Texas, including 18 in Dallas-Fort Worth and all its locations in Austin, Houston and San Antonio. In January 2026, Salad and Go CEO Mike Tattersfield told the Phoenix Business Journal the company faced an “economic burden” stemming from the large kitchen in Dallas and a flawed business plan.

No, the company will move its headquarters back to Phoenix from Coppell. It will all close a commissary facility in North Texas.
