The city of Austin, Texas continues to grow and grow. With the city and new people coming to the city, transportation around the city must keep up as well. One of those places getting upgrades is none other than Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
ABIA Continued Growth Over The Years
Austin Bergstrom may have seemed busier to those who have recently flown out of it. You wouldn’t be wrong either. KXAN showed that since 2015, passengers have grown from around 11 million in 2015 to over 21 million in 2024.

Simply put, with more and more people going to ABIA and the area around it needs to get bigger to accommodate more passengers. To that end, the airport is seeing a new terminal being built. The question now becomes which airlines will reside in the terminal, and if it affects the other terminal.
