Cold weather will finally hit the Coastal Bend and is expected to last more than a week.
Here’s what the National Weather Service of Corpus Christi and The Weather Channel have in the forecast for the area:
Jan. 9
A cold front is expect to roll in in the evening with lows reaching around 55.
Jan. 10
There will be a 60% chance of showers during the day, with a high near 64. In the evening, the low will reach around 45.
Jan. 11
The high will be around 62 with cloudy skies during the day, and a low around 43 is expected in the evening.
Jan. 12
The day will be partly sunny with a high near 63. In the evening, the low will reach around 48.

Cold weather is expected to make its way to the Corpus Christi area starting Jan. 9.
Jan. 13
It will be partly sunny during the day with a high around 65, with a 40% chance of rain. The evening will reach around 48.
Jan. 14
The high will be around 69 with sunny skies during the day, and a low around 49 in the evening.
Jan. 15
The day will have sunny skies with a high around 63, and a low around 49 in the evening.
Jan. 16
Sunny skies will be out during the day with a high around 67, and the low will be around 45 in the evening.
Jan. 17
There will be a 75% chance of rain during the day, with a high near 64. In the evening, the low will be around 50.
