CBP officers in El Paso catch ‘stowaways’ hiding in trains

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott commended officers on multiple arrests of individuals attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso.

Scott posted to X on Thursday, Jan. 8, of individuals — he called “stowaways”– attempting to conceal themselves inside trains crossing the border.

Scott said these arrests were made throughout the week, but did not specify how many people were arrested.
