Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Flour Bluff

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday on Flour Bluff Dr. near Wal-Mart, according to Corpus Christi police.

CCPD Public Information Officer Tony Contreras said officers received the call around 6:25 p.m. The man was transported to a local medical facility afterwards.   

Contreras said the driver involved remained at the scene. No additional details about the circumstances of the crash were immediately available.

Police continue to investigate.
