EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 26-year-old man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly crashed into another vehicle while driving drunk with two kids in the car.
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, Tyrese Riley was driving a vehicle with a three-year-old and a six-year-old when he allegedly crashed into another car while driving east through I-10 near mile marker 39 in El Paso County, at around 4:42 a.m.
Responding deputies described Riley as showing “clear signs of intoxication.”
Sheriff’s Office said that after a breathalyzer test, Riley showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12 (0.08 is the legal limit in Texas).

Furthermore, after a background check, the Sheriff’s Office stated deputies learned Riley had nine outstanding traffic warrants.
Riley was taken to the El Paso County Downtown Jail, where he was booked and charged with DWI with a child under 15 years of age, with a bond set at $10,000.
According to jail records, Riley was released from jail on Monday after posting a personal recognizance bond.
Jail records show Riley’s outstanding warrants were from offenses from 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
