CYPRESS, Texas – A teen was flown to a hospital after a shooting reported in the Cypress area, according to the Harris County sheriff.

The shooting was reported on Westgate Park Drive, near Barker Cypress Road and FM-529.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says a teen had been shot and was taken to an emergency room. The teen was then flown to a hospital via LifeFlight.
The victim is said to be in critical condition.
Investigators and detectives are responding to the scene.
