Crash happened in southbound lanes of Highway 281 just past the San Pedro Avenue exit around 12:45 a.m.
SAN ANTONIO – A 21-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries early Friday after crashing his motorcycle on Highway 281 on the North Side, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 281 just past the San Pedro Avenue exit around 12:45 a.m.
Witnesses told police they saw the man speeding through a curve on the road when he lost control and crashed, an SAPD preliminary report said.
SAPD said the man was not racing.
EMS officials gave the man CPR at the scene before he was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
SAPD said its investigation is ongoing.
