HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says a man in his twenties was shot and killed Saturday afternoon on the 8300 block of Vistadale Drive.
Harris County Precinct 4 Constable, Mark Herman, shared the initial report on X.

There is a large police presence in the 8200 block of Vistadale Drive as deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an in-progress shooting call.
Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male who had sustained-gunshot wounds.

Deputies from Harris County Precinct 4 responded to the scene after a shooting was reported. A man in his early to mid-twenties was found inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were called immediately after that.
Pct 4 deputies responded to a call for service at the 8300 block of Vistadale.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says despite life-saving efforts by EMS, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
EMS confirmed the male victim is deceased.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office believes the victim was shot multiple times. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting occurred in the middle of the street, not at a residence. Authorities say the victim does not live in the neighborhood, and they are investigating his movements before the incident.
According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman, four male suspects wearing dark clothes and masks ran off. Police are asking residents to review any surveillance footage that might help identity the suspects.
