The Best Texas City for Bar Hopping

We Texans know there are many great spots for bar hopping in the Lone Star State, but one city was recently ranked among the best in the nation. I would be willing to bet a dollar to a donut you can guess which city it is.

Anyone who knows me knows I love to party. However, they also know that I’m a total homebody. That said, I do enjoy going out for a little bar hopping from time to time.

Living in Wichita Falls, I find myself in Fort Worth way more often than any other major city. It has everything I’m looking for in a big city and is about a two-hour drive, versus three to Dallas and five to Austin, both of which are cities I’m also quite fond of.

So, when it comes to big city bar hopping, I’m a big fan of the Fort Worth Stockyards. I love the old school Texas vibes, and most of the people I’ve encountered there were super cool. I’ve had many a fun night (and day) there.

Austin: Texas’ Nightlife Powerhouse

But there is no denying that Sixth Street in Austin is world-renowned for its nightlife. I can immerse myself in that district for hours on end. So, it was no surprise when I received a press release from the folks at QR Code Generator naming Austin the best Texas city for bar hopping.

While Sixth Street immediately comes to mind for partying, there are plenty of other places to hit up for a little bar hopping. South Congress, East Austin, and West University are also famous for their party scenes.
