Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller is bringing her coaching skills to North Texas.
Texas Galaxy Cheer and Dance, at 1210 W. Scyene Road in Mesquite, will host the dance guru on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. On Feb. 22 at noon, Miller will visit DV8 Dance Complex, 1999 Business Park Blvd. in Argyle.
Miller will offer dance and audition tips to dancers ages 7 to 18, and all experience levels are welcome. She’ll also hold Q-and-A sessions and take photos with the dancers.
Tickets are $129 for VIP dancer tickets, $115 for dancer tickets and $45 for observers at showclix.com (search for “Abby Lee”). VIP tickets include an acrobatics class.

Sandi’s School of Dance, at 1605 E. Main St. in Waxahachie, will also host Miller, on Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. But tickets for that event are no longer available online.
Miller appeared on the Lifetime reality TV series Dance Moms from 2011 to 2019, training young stars including JoJo Siwa and Maddie Ziegler. Miller, 60, also appeared in a handful of spinoff series, and she hosts the Leave It On The Dance Floor podcast.
Miller has faced numerous legal issues, including lawsuits from fellow cast members alleging assault and emotional distress. She served time in federal prison in 2017-18 after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud.
