Hegseth, Cornyn stop by BAMC to see troops hurt during Maduro operation

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Brooke Army Medical Center got a visit from some familiar faces on Monday.

KSAT 12 reports Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Texas U.S. Senator John Cornyn met with troops who were hurt during the raid in Venezuela that toppled the regime of Nicolas Maduro.

Last week, it was reported that two servicemembers were still recovering from injuries sustained in Operation Absolute Resolve. Five additional troops were hurt during the mission, but each have been released and are now back to duty.
