One of Texas’ biggest country music singers is coming to Fort Worth this spring for a special fundraising performance.
Kacey Musgraves will headline The Big Night 2026 at River Ranch Stockyards on April 9. The prominent auction raises funds for Tarrant To & Through Partnership, United Community Centers, UpSpire and Tarrant Area Food Bank.
The fundraising event is hosted by The Big Good, a nonprofit founded by Grammy Award-winning artist Leon Bridges and Gary Patterson, the winningest coach in Texas Christian University football history. The nonprofit has invested over $4.3 million into addressing food insecurity and expanding education access since its launch in 2021.
Entry to The Big Night is strictly through sponsorships that range from $2,500 to $50,000.
“We started The Big Good because we wanted to create something bigger than ourselves — something that gave back to the city that raised us,” Bridges said in a press release. “Having Kacey Musgraves join us in year five is special. Her artistry and her heart for community will make this our most meaningful year yet.”
Musgraves is an eight-time Grammy Award winner who released her fifth studio album “Deeper Well” in March 2024. She and Bridges have previously collaborated on two singles, “Present Without A Bow” and “Superbloom.”
The April 9 concert will also feature a special performance from Fort Worth singer-songwriter Abraham Alexander who garnered national attention for his Academy Award nomination last year.
“The Big Good has grown into something truly powerful,” Patterson said in a press release. “Every year, we see more people step up to be part of the mission. We’ve accomplished a lot in just five years, but we’re not slowing down.”
