1. Uvalde teacher who survived class shooting testifies he saw ‘black shadow with a gun’

A teacher who survived the 2022 shooting inside a Robb Elementary school classroom in Uvalde, Texas, told a jury Monday the attack began with a “black shadow” with a gun walking inside and that he prayed for the attack to be over after being shot along with his students.

2. Multiple people arrested during Saturday night anti-ICE protest in Austin

The Austin Police Department (APD) said it arrested four people this weekend during one of the many protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that took place following the shooting death of a woman by an ICE officer.

3. Gabby Douglas, Coco Jones to headline San Antonio Martin Luther King Jr. celebration

San Antonio’s 39th Martin Luther King Jr. March and Celebration — touted as the largest MLK Jr. march in the nation — will feature three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas and Grammy-winning recording artist Coco Jones.
