LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Schools across the area can participate in activities like dances, contests or pie-throwing events to raise money for a local children’s hospital.
Miracle Pennies is a program that has involved 22 schools in the area, raising more than $61,000 for Children’s Miracle Network. Every penny stays in Lubbock to help kids at UMC Children’s Hospital.
The program involves students from kindergarten through 12th grade raising pennies for Children’s Miracle Network. Schools can win prizes for their participation.
Schools interested in joining the 2026 Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Pennies campaign are invited to a kickoff event Thursday, Jan. 22, from noon to 1:15 p.m. at CenterPoint Event Center.
