LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A Lubbock woman will spend the next five years in prison after admitting to her role in a deadly shooting five years ago in central Lubbock.
Catelyn Pina, 24, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault Monday for serving as a driver during a drive-by shooting in September 2021.

Pina drove Adam Villareal near 28th and P streets so he could shoot 30-year-old Domingo Siri and 20-year-old Cleotis Johnson. Siri died in the attack. Johnson survived.
Pina and Villareal were originally charged with Siri’s murder, but the district attorney’s office downgraded their charges as part of their plea deals.
