SAFD: 1 dead in car fire on South Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio Fire Department is investigating after a person was found dead inside of a burning car.

The call was made around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and upon arrival crews started to put out the flames. Investigators say once the fire was knocked down, an unidentified person was found inside.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no other details were given.

SAFD says the car was found burning at the intersection of Moursund and East Gillette boulevards on the South Side.
