EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The auditions for the project “La Reina Que Quiero Ser,” initially set for Jan. 31, at The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso, have been canceled.
The decision comes due to changes in the production schedule, and the casting event will no longer proceed, officials with the production said.
The film, set in March 1995, follows Miguel, a young boy who finds the courage to be himself after the death of his idol, Selena, guided by his mother’s love and the healing power of music.
