A Plano man is being sentenced to seven years in prison in a child pornography case.
Twenty-five-year-old Joshua D. French pleaded guilty last month. He will be required to register as a sex offender for life and will serve three years of parole following his prison sentence.
The investigation involved multiple law enforcement agencies and began with a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force regarding an X account that was later linked to French. Investigators say the account had shared images of child pornography.
French’s home was searched in November of 2024, leading to his arrest in March of this year.
