The event will feature student musicians from across the district coming together.
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The Houston County School District is holding an event Tuesday to showcase the work of the county’s student musicians.Â
They say that every middle school and high school marching bands in the district will be performing at McConnell-Talbert Stadium in Warner Robins on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
 It’s all part of a “Band Night” the school district is holding.Â
The event is bringing together bands from across the district, performing a “mass rendition” of the national anthem with all bands together before moving on to other performances, according to a press release from the district.
Then, the middle school students will perform two songs together. After that, they say the high school marching bands will perform their 2025 halftime shows for attendees to enjoy.
The district says that their “Band Night” has been expanding in recent years.Â
While it started with just the various Houston County high school marching bands, the event has grown to include middle school musicians from all eight middle schools in the district, according to the press release.
The district says it reflects “the growth and popularity of instrumental music” in the Houston County School District.Â
The district says that the show is free and open to the public.
Houston County Schools says that every marching band at the middle and high schools in the district will be represented.
