According to officials, officers spotted a stolen vehicle in the area of Centennial Blvd and Greenville Ave around 9 p.m. Tuesday evening.

RICHARDSON, Texas — A juvenile was arrested after leading police on a chase, crashing a stolen vehicle in Richardson, police say. 

Officers spotted a stolen vehicle around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13 in the area of Centennial Boulevard and Greenville Avenue, Richardson police said in a press release. 

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver took off, leading police on a pursuit, the release states. 

The suspect crashed the vehicle into a brick wall, and the car became disabled, according to police. 

The juvenile was taken into custody and has been charged with evading arrest and detention in a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to officials.Â
