Comedian and internet personality Charleston White has debunked allegations that he was shot in Ft. Worth, Texas, this week.

On Tuesday (Jan. 13), false reports surfaced about White, 48, having been shot three times in Texas. The comedian was alleged to have been in critical condition, but on Wednesday (Jan. 14), White posted an Instagram Story and cleared up the rumors.

“Somebody said I got shot in Fort Worth?” White said while sitting in the passenger seat of a car, seen in the clip below. “I don’t live in Fort Worth. I ain’t live in Fort Worth in years. I stay in Miami. I don’t live nowhere where it ain’t no water.”

The alarming news was also debunked by White’s manager, who told Atlanta rapper Nikeboy Zeke that the comedian hadn’t been in Texas in close to a week.

White, who’s known for his polarizing takes on hip-hop figures like Boosie BadAzz, Youngboy Never Broke Again and Cardi B, was last rumored to have shot himself while in a nightclub in 2022. As XXL reported, White was allegedly at a strip club in Dallas, Texas, at the time when he was said to have suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. White would later respond on an episode of RealLyfe Productions by asking for video proof.

“Where the video?” White asked in the video below. “He got shot in the club
we know he did they got detailed description he was sitting down. He ran out. N***a, last night soon as that car said, ‘Boom,’ n***a, before I can even open the door, there’s cameras everywhere.”
