We didn’t exactly catch the ghost but we see what he did. El Paso is loaded with ghosts and, in true rock n roll fashion, the KLAQ ghost likes to break stuff.

Spooky season is upon us so get ready for tons of horror movie marathons and ghost stories galore. From haunted high schools and mystery houses to graveyards and pretty much all of downtown, the 915 has ghost game. Even the KLAQ studios have one …

I did a poll on Facebook once asking people what they thought the most haunted places in El Paso were and got some of the usual spots like El Paso High and Trans Mountain but there were also some off the wall spots mentioned like a duplex on Carmelita and a “witches House” on the mountain.

The KLAQ Studios Are Haunted

The building that houses the KLAQ, KSII and KROD studios has always been active when it comes to ghosts. One of ’em is a little boy who likes to hang out in the back, near the restrooms but he/they wander freely.

This happened up front by the studios, on the KSII side. About 7 seconds in on the counter …

Everything was checked out, the camera was fine and there was no significant or sudden vibration. You can clearly see there was nobody near the picture on either side of the wall.

The Q’s Veronica Gonzalez went on a little ghost hunt in the building once with Johnny Walker and the late Scott Ronson.

I kinda think Ronson may be the one that knocked that picture down in the first video … he was always giving the morning shows a hard time.
