A driver was shot on a Dallas freeway during Wednesday evening’s rush hour, sparking a police investigation and snarling traffic for commuters.
The shooting occurred just after 6 p.m. on northbound Interstate 45 near East Overton Road, according to Dallas police, Fox 4 KDFW reported.
Officers discovered the wounded driver after responding to shooting calls on the Julius Schepps Freeway. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital.
