EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — An El Paso Public Service Board meeting was disrupted when a woman was arrested after refusing to comply with staff and law enforcement.

The incident occurred when Acevedo was informed that the meeting room had reached capacity and was asked to move to the overflow area.
She became disruptive, raising her voice and making repeated claims that the water supply was contaminated and that businesses were selling contaminated products, officials said.

Despite multiple requests to comply, Acevedo continued yelling, causing the meeting to be interrupted, according to officials.

Officers from the El Paso Police Department removed her from the meeting, but she continued to yell while being escorted out, preventing the meeting from proceeding.
Acevedo was arrested for disrupting a meeting or procession and resisting arrest, search, or transport.
