Halloween season is alive and well in Dallas. Here in the second half of October, it’s only heating up. While for many, the month marks the time to binge-watch all the horror movies under the moon, Sandbox VR is unveiling a new cinematic experience that allows you to live one. Created in partnership with Netflix, Stranger Things – Catalyst at Sandbox VR is an immersive new experience that transports visitors to Hawkins and take on supernatural foes.
Sandbox VR is a cutting-edge experiential venue at Mockingbird Station in Dallas. The venue is renowned for its socially immersive gaming experiences that include high-quality haptics and full-body motion capture that create unprecedented, hyper-realistic immersion.

Presently, Sandbox VR is featuring numerous experiences including the third installment of its hit, psychological horror Deadwood PHOBIA 360-degree zombie experience as well its experiences based on hit series including Squid Game Virtuals and Rebel Moon: The Descent.
Ahead of the premier of the final season of Stranger Things, Sandbox VR plans for their new immersive experience to be a “fully cinematic extension of the franchise“. The Dallas Stranger Things experience transports fans to Hawkins, with the ability to explore the Upside Down, Mirkwood woods, and shadowy halls of Hawkins National Laboratory.
Furthermore, fans can harness the telekinetic powers of Eleven as they take on everything from Demodogs and Demobats to the the ultimate foe, the Demogorgon.

Sandbox VR’s Stranger Things: Catalyst experience debuts at Sandbox VR at 5321 E Mockingbird Ln Ste, 110 in Dallas on Monday, October 20. Parties up to 6 can book the experience together. For larger parties, contact the venue who will work to coordinate the bookings to line up together. Prices range from $50 to $60 per guest.
The venue is open from 10 am – 10 pm from Monday to Thursday, and until 11 pm from Friday to Sunday.
