LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – One person has died after an overnight shooting in southwest Lubbock.
Lubbock Police were called to the area near 76th Street and Chicago Avenue around midnight Sunday for reports of a loud party.
They got another call reporting shots fired in that area at 12:44 a.m.
This time, when officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Deon Lilly with a gunshot wound. Lilly was taken to UMC and pronounced dead.
Another person, 18 years old, arrived at UMC with a gunshot wound, while a 16 year old came to Covenant Medical Center with lacerations in his arm.

The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.
LPD is asking anyone with information regarding the identification and arrest of the suspect(s) could receive a $5,000 reward. Tips can be made by calling Crime Line at 806-741-1000. Callers can remain anonymous.
