Police on Friday arrested a man on suspicion of murder in the shooting three weeks ago that killed a 17-year-old girl in an east Fort Worth park amid a group fight.

Ricco Henderson, 18, was booked in connection with the Dec. 29 shooting death of Cyanna Boone at Stop Six Park in the 1500 block of Liberty Street, according to a police record.

Boone was one of two people who were fatally shot there at the same time. Family members identified the other victim as 18-year-old Frank Price Jr.

Boone had “dreams, potential, and her entire life ahead of her,” a relative wrote in a GoFundMe post organized for funeral expenses.

“Our hearts are broken, and our family and community are mourning the loss of someone who was deeply loved by so many,” the relative wrote.

Boone was pronounced dead at the park. Police found Price in a parked vehicle in the 1700 block of Handley Drive, and he later died at a hospital.
