The Fort Worth Apartment Association (FWAA) Board of Directors has unanimously selected Perry Pillow as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer, following a comprehensive search that attracted over 40 applicants.

Perry is FWAA’s longest-serving team member, bringing nearly 30 years of dedicated service and leadership to the association and its members. Having most recently served as Vice President of Government Affairs, Perry has been a cornerstone of the organization since joining in 1996. He has been a tireless advocate for the multifamily housing industry, representing FWAA’s interests and advancing key policy initiatives throughout Fort Worth and Tarrant County.

A proud Fort Worth native, Perry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington (1986) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (2010). His distinguished career began as a legislative assistant in the White House during President Ronald Reagan’s administration—a testament to his lifelong commitment to public service and effective leadership.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Perry is deeply rooted in family and community. He and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 35 years and are the proud parents of three children: Andrew, Marilyn, and Jacquelyn.
