Based on estimates from local police departments and event organizers, more than 20,000 people turned out across the Metroplex on Saturday, Oct. 18, for “No King” rallies and marches.

That breaks down to 8,000-9,000 in Dallas (according to organizers; police estimated 3,000); 6,500 in Fort Worth; 1,400 in Arlington; 1,300 in Plano; 1,500-2,000 in Frisco and 400 in Garland.

Nation-wide, estimated attendance was nearly 7 million, and No King rallies were also held outside the U.S. Embassy in London and in Berlin, Rome, Paris, Sweden, Spain and Portugal.

There have been very few — if any — arrests or disturbances reported in connection with the protests, and the scattered reports of problems all appeared to center around right-wing agitators trying to cause problems.
