EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The U.S. Customs and Border Protection will implement partial lane closures at the Stanton Street and Paso del Norte international border crossings to accommodate the International U.S.-Mexico 10K Race this weekend.

The race will be held on Saturday from 6 to 10 a.m.

The Stanton crossing will close its easternmost lane, while the Paso del Norte crossing will reserve its two easternmost lanes for runners.

Paso del Norte’s Sentri/Global Entry lane will be closed during the race, but users can utilize the Stanton/LERDO Sentri lane.

Travelers from Mexico not participating in the race are advised to use the Bridge of the Americas and Ysleta ports of entry to avoid traffic and delays in downtown El Paso and Ciudad Juarez.
