LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Police were called to the scene on 34th Street between Boston and University Avenues Wednesday night, where one person was seriously injured in a crash.
The call came in around 8 p.m.
LPD says when officers arrived, they found 73-year-old David Harris.
According to LPD, it appears Harris was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of 34th Street when he crashed into a light pole in the northeast corner of the intersection of 34th Street and Boston Avenue.
Harris was taken to UMC with serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
