2026 PRO SWIM SERIES – AUSTIN

Day 4 Finals Heat Sheet

In atypical fashion for the last night of meets, scratch loads were lighter than previous nights, at least among top names.

The biggest name to scratch tonight was 2x Olympic medalist Kieran Smith. The middle distance stud ended his meet early by renouncing his spot in the 100 free. He had qualified 14th this morning with a 50.32.

Earlier in the meet, Smith enjoyed a 3rd place finish in the 200 IM final. His signature 200 free, he placed 10th, while he was DNS in the 400 free.

Fishers Area Swimmer Tigers athlete and NC State commit Emily Wolf lightened her load slightly with a 100 free scratch as well. However, she’ll still face quite the extraordinary double with back-to-back 800 freestyle and 200 fly races. She joined fellow high schooler Charlotte Crush in dropping the 100 free.

The highest morning seed to scratch came from Indiana’s Luke Barr in the 200 breast final. He placed 4th this morning, the same place he earned in the 100 breast earlier in the meet.

No scratches came from the 50 fly or back finals on either gender. This event offers double prize money, and the finalists have all already committed to two rounds of swimming the event before tonight.
