LUBBOCK, Texas. (WIBW) – K-State women’s basketball knocked off undefeated Texas Tech 65–59 on the road in Lubbock.
The Wildcats controlled the game by out-rebounding the Lady Raiders 46–20. K-State had four players score in double figures, led by Tess Heal with 12 points.
Texas Tech stayed close behind Bailey Maupin’s 18 points, but never fully took control. Kansas State closed the game on an 8–1 run to hand the Lady Raiders their first loss of the season.
K-State improves to 10-9 and is set to host Houston on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
