SAN ANTONIO — An overnight house fire caused by electrical issues was quickly taken care of on the city’s Southeast side.

The incident occurred early Sunday morning around 1:28 a.m. on Mary Helen Drive. The San Antonio Fire Department was called to a home at the location where they found light smoke coming from the attic.

SAFD gained rapid access to the attic and stopped the flames before the fire could spread. All occupants safely evacuated with no injuries reported. The home sustained minor damage.

This is a developing story.
