FORT WORTH – Deborah Kay Forbes ,65, passed away, peacefully at home, on Monday, January 12, 2026. A devoted family member, respected professional, and cherished friend, passed away leaving a legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in the Sandburg Suite at Mount Olivet. Growing up she attended Carter-Riverside High School and then attended Texas Christian University (TCU). For more than 45 years, she served as Vice President with distinction of both family corporations, demonstrating unwavering commitment, integrity, and leadership throughout her career. Above all else, Deborah deeply loved her family and friends, who were the center of her life. Her warmth, generosity, and steadfast presence touched all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed by everyone whose life she enriched. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Walton L. Forbes Jr. and Mona K. Forbes, of Fort Worth; and her brother, Harry Davis and his wife, Carol, of Pennsylvania. She is survived by her brother, David Forbes and his wife, Sandra; nephews, Chris Forbes and his wife, Rosana; niece, Ginny Diaz and her husband, Michael; her beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, Brayden Diaz, Katherine Diaz, Alyssa Diaz, Olivia, Max Forbes, Mark Davis and his wife, Jan, and Suzanne Willoughby and her husband, Steve; her best friends, David Phillips and Jeff Morris; and the extended Phillips and Spakes families, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
