LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – It was a 30-year reunion for the Texas Tech men’s basketball team that went 30-2 overall. The 1995-96 team was honored during the BYU-Tech game Saturday evening.
Led by Coach James Dickey, the Red Raiders went undefeated, 14-0, in Southwest Conference Play and won the final Southwest Conference Tournament.
The team advanced to the Sweet Sixteen with a win that included the iconic Darvin Ham backboard-shattering dunk.
