Crash in West El Paso sends one to hospital; bystander reports driver lost leg

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — One person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in West El Paso.

According to the El Paso Fire Department, at around 1:06 a.m., a car crash near Mesa Street and Executive Boulevard sent a person to the hospital in serious condition.

EPFD did not describe the nature of the injuries, but a bystander reported that the person lost their leg.

Also, video from the wreck shows that a building in the area was damaged.
