Two people killed in separate crashes in west Fort Worth, police say

Two people were killed in separate crashes over the weekend in west Fort Worth, police said.

Fort Worth police responded about 2 a.m. Sunday to a crash in the 11900 block of West Freeway .

When officers arrived they found two vehicles that were involved in the crash, police said.

One occupant died at the scene and another occupant was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police did not release details about what led to the crash or the people involved.

About 5 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a crash in the 3000 Las Vegas Trail, police said.

A vehicle crashed and collided with a tree. Officers found that a single occupant of the vehicle died at the scene, police said.
