HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A man was taken to the hospital after being injured in a grass fire in northwest Harris County on Monday, according to authorities.
Skyeye was over the scene as the fire burned through fields near the 14000 block of Warren Ranch Road in Hockley.
According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, a man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy after suffering injuries from the fire.
Officials added that the fire was a prescribed burn.
HCFMO investigators responded to the scene to assist in controlling the fire, according to a social media post.
