LORENA, Texas (KWTX) – Firefighters from Central Texas on Monday battled a grass fire near Lorena.
It ignited at about 2:00 p.m. in the vicinity of Foxtrot Road and Iron Bridge Road.
Firefighters said the fire burned through two to three acres of land, and a few round bales of hay caught fire.
A goose-neck trailer sustained some damage, but the fire is now under control.
The Lorena Fire Department, Robinson Volunteer Fire Department and Bruceville-Eddy Fire Department all responded to the scene.
