The Fort Worth Apartment Association (FWAA) has hired Casey Wright as
its new Director of Government Affairs, replacing Perry Pillow, who was recently
promoted.
Casey brings more than 18 years of experience in government relations and public
affairs. He began his career in the multifamily industry with the Apartment Association of
Greater Dallas and has since led state advocacy programs for a national trade
association, served as District Director for a Texas State Representative, and worked in
private-sector construction management.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Dallas Baptist University and a
Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University.
The Fort Worth Apartment Association (FWAA) is a not-for-profit trade association
established in 1967 to support the business interests of multi-housing owners, property
managers, and vendor partners across a nine-county region in North-Central Texas. An
independent 501(c)(6) organization aligned with the Texas Apartment Association and
the National Apartment Association, FWAA represents more than 1,800 members who
own, manage, and supply services to over 260,000 apartment homes.
