(Arlington, TX – January 2026) – PSK LLP, a leading Arlington-based full-service accounting and advisory firm, promoted Cat Samson, CPA, to Partner, recognizing her technical abilities, leadership and growing impact on the firm and its clients.
Samson joined PSK in 2018 and has played an instrumental role in the firm’s audit and assurance practice, with a primary focus on not-for-profit organizations including churches, other faith-based ministries, private schools and performing arts organizations. She advanced rapidly in the firm, earning promotions to Senior Associate, Audit Manager and Senior Audit Manager, and is widely respected for her knowledge in complex financial statement audits, relationship building, client advisory services and team leadership.
In her new role as Partner, Samson will continue to work with the PSK partner group to expand PSK’s not-for-profit audit and consulting services while mentoring staff and contributing to the firm’s long-term strategic growth. Samson will continue to work with and present both at The Church Network national conference and local chapter meetings. Samson is also a supporter of the Fort Worth chapter of the TxCPA, leading PSK’s involvement in the youth community service programs including #Adulting and the Santaaccountant holiday initiative.
Earlier in her career, Samson was selected for both the Texas Society of CPAs Fort Worth Chapter Leadership Development Program and the Association of International CPAs Leadership Academy–prestigious programs designed to prepare the next generation of CPA leaders through a focus on ethics, leadership and service.
Samson earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her academic achievements include her being selected for a competitive scholarship from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and placing among the top ten CPA exam performers in the state of Texas in 2019.
