Police reported in December that a 50-year-old man, who has now been identified as Dominguez, was drinking at the bar and was subsequently kicked out. He was then seen jumping on top of cars in the parking lot and was placed under arrest when officers arrived at the scene.
Police say that while placing Dominguez was under arrest, he resisted, and force had to be used by officers.
He was then placed into custody and was put in a police unit, and became unresponsive.
Police then took him out of the vehicle and began performing CPR. Medical personnel arrived and took over to perform CPR. Dominguez was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
KTSM is awaiting the autopsy report from the medical examiner. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
