LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Texas Department of Transportation will host a public meeting Thursday to present plans for replacing the FM 835 bridge over the North Double Mountain Fork Brazos River in Lubbock County.
The in-person meeting will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at the TxDOT Training Center Mesquite Room, 135 Slaton Road, Lubbock. The meeting includes a presentation about the proposed project to rebuild the bridge structure east of Loop 289 and improve the FM 835/Olive Street intersection.
TxDOT staff will answer questions and collect public feedback during the meeting.
Citizens can also access a virtual meeting through a pre-recorded video presentation posted at 5 p.m. Thursday at www.txdot.gov. The presentation can be found by searching “FM 835 Bridge Replacement.”
