EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Interstate 10 in West El Paso is closed after a crash involving serious injuries Wednesday evening, Jan. 21, according to the El Paso Police Department.
Shortly after 8 p.m., EPPD’s Special Traffic Investigation unit was dispatched to I-10 East and Mesa in reference to a vehicle crash.
EPPD said the crash involved serious injuries. It is unclear how many people were hurt.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, all lanes of I-10 East before Mesa will be closed until further notice. TxDOT is asking motorists to look for alternative routes.
KTSM has reached out to EPPD for clarification if this crash is involved with another crash in the area that happened around 4 p.m. at I-10 East at Mesa.
