HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Another luxury garage condominium project is underway in the Houston area.

The first Republic Luxury Garages is currently under construction at 20717 Westheimer Parkway, just west of South Fry Road in the Cinco Ranch community in the Katy area.

The company was founded by local real estate professionals Howard Mayne and Nate Dains in 2023 and is the latest in a growing number of similar concepts being developed in the Houston area and elsewhere.

Republic Luxury Garages will consist of four buildings ranging from about 10,000 to 19,000 square feet and totaling 55,347 square feet on 3 acres. Overall, there will be 42 garage condos with 14-foot-high doors, each with a 25-by-50-foot floor plate and a mezzanine area that brings each unit to 1,650 square feet.

The project also includes a 2,900-square-foot club room featuring a lounge area with TVs, a bar and kitchen area, and a golf simulator and other games, Mayne told the Houston Business Journal.
