  • January 23, 2026

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – Two people were arrested, and a stolen vehicle was recovered during an armed robbery investigation in the Stratmoor Hills area on January 12.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) said a delivery service driver reported a robbery that occurred on Sinton Avenue around 1 p.m. on January 7.

Deputies said that the driver had reported that an adult man and woman had threatened a victim with a handgun, stolen the victim’s car and dragged the victim down the road as the victim had tried to stop the theft.

EPSO said the victim told deputies that they saw one suspect jump into the driver’s seat while they struggled with a second suspect to keep them from leaving. During the struggle, EPSO said the victim reported that the driver threatened them with a gun before driving away and dragging them about 50 feet before they fell in the road.

By the time deputies arrived, they said the suspects had left the scene.

While working with the Colorado Department of Corrections Adult Parole Division, deputies said they were able to identify the two suspects as 31-year-old Dominic Ray Bryan and 26-year-old Zhane Molina.

Bryan was reportedly already on parole for a previous aggravated robbery conviction.

On January 12, deputies reported that they collaborated with the Colorado Springs Police Department and Colorado State Patrol to conduct a Beat Auto Theft Through Law Enforcement (BATTLE) operation, during which they recovered the stolen vehicle and arrested Bryan and Molina.

Deputies said Bryan and Molina were arrested on the following charges:

Aggravated RobberyMotor Vehicle Theft in the Second DegreeMenacingVehicular Assault (Attempted)Reckless Endangerment

They said Bryan is also charged with Parole Violation.
