EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Chihuahuas looking to hire a full-time “Mascot Coordinator” to become Chico, the team’s mascot.
According to the job listing, the team is looking for someone with mascot experience, 5’10” to 6’2” feet tall, able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management or a related field.
Besides performing as Chico during gamedays, the job listing includes other duties such as being in charge of Chico’s educational programs for school appearances and community outreach programs, support charitable organizations and fundraising efforts, as well as, managing Chico’s Instagram account, among other things.
Salary ranges from $30 to $40 thousand.
